Master Plan for world-class visitor-supported park
I'm currently working with a nonprofit organization that owns a 4,000 acre visitor- and donor-supported park, developing a master plan that will guide the future management of the park for generations.
Nonprofit Communications, including social media
I'm currently working with a nonprofit organization that provides professional development on social impact issues to professionals throughout the region. I developed their public relations/communications plan, and handle their social media and weekly newsletter.

I've written internal and external-facing blog content for nonprofit and corporate clients, including a national home health organization, a health career school, and national consumer blog.

For four years I served as the speechwriter for the Mayor of Louisville, one of the 50 largest cities in the nation. In other roles, I've written speeches for CEOs, governors, and federal officials.

As a former journalist, I know how to work with reporters. I've successfully got clients media mentions in USA Today, the Washington Post and more. I recently worked with a library district to educate the public about new library services. I also have assisted a national nonprofit that was facing negative publicity in light of a lawsuit.
