I received grants!
I'm thrilled and honored to announce that I've recently received two grants to fund my work on a third novel, in which I seek to humorously explore themes involving young mothers' sense of identity as they attempt to balance work and family issues.
The Kentucky Arts Council awarded me an Al Smith Fellowship and the Kentucky Foundation For Women awarded me one of their Artist Enrichment Grants.
I can't begin to tell you how humbling it is to receive these prestigious grants! I want to make sure the book is worthy of such support!
