- Why do you write about trivial topics like princesses and celebrities?

Well, hold on there! Trivial? Did you say trivial? I’ll have you know that I write about very important princesses and celebrities – women who inspire the masses, draw attention to the important causes of the day, and set off extremely tasteful trends.

Seriously, I think princesses and starlets can be interesting characters because they personify the feminine standards that the rest of us are held to. When you see how hard it is for celebrities to meet these standards, even given their extensive staffs, it raises questions about how any of the rest of us can be expected to meet them. Also, I figure enough books have already been written about serious topics like baseball and cars.
