Seriously, though my books are outlandish tales about the rich and famous, much of what happens is based on real life. Embarrassing photographs, disagreements with in-laws, a songwriter that we listen to when we're feeling restless and unsure - all of these things are familiar, but much funnier when they involve celebrities and tabloid headlines.
